My mom's best friend lived in San Diego for a LONG time, and one of HER friends is a lieutenant at the SD Humane Society and spent two weeks rescuing pets after the first storm. She sent my mom's friend these wonderful pictures that were forwarded to her, and my mom forwarded them to me.I'm posting them because it's such a heartwarming story. Alot of times we forget about the animals who went through hell too. In addition to the human-itarian efforts, please think about donating to shelters and humane society organizations, if not monetarily, then maybe buy a bag of dog or cat food, donate your time, or maybe adopt a pet?

The story begins with the rescuers finding this poor little guy that someone had already taken under their wing but weren't equipped to adopt..
